Sender name
Register your sender name — we handle the paperwork
Required before you can use SMS Brandname or Voice Brandname. You pick the name; we prepare, file and follow it through.
A sender name is the name shown instead of a phone number when a business sends SMS (SMS Brandname) or calls (Voice Brandname). Under Decree 91/2020/NĐ-CP it must be registered with the Authority of Information Security before use: up to 11 characters, unique in the national registry, valid for three years. ePacific Telecom helps you choose the name, prepares and files the application, then sets it up with the carriers.
The rules
Up to 11 characters
Latin letters, digits, (-), (_), (.) and spaces.
Unique
Each name is issued to one organisation or person in the national registry.
Valid for three years
From the date of issue; renew before it expires to avoid a gap.
Mandatory
Carriers block marketing messages and calls without a valid sender name.

Frequently asked questions
Can I file it myself?
Yes. The procedure "Issuing a sender-name certificate" is on the National Public Service Portal. ePacific helps you pick a compliant name, prepares the file and sets the name up with the carriers once it is issued.
What's the fee and when is it paid?
The first-issue fee is VND 200,000 per sender name. Pay only once the Authority of Information Security confirms the file is valid and tells you how — never on instructions from anyone else.
Can one name cover both SMS and calls?
Yes. An issued sender name works for both SMS Brandname and Voice Brandname; each service is still set up separately with the carriers.
What happens after three years?
The name must be renewed before it expires. ePacific reminds existing customers and handles the renewal.
